Procter Automotive opened its doors in May of 1947 at 1325 Butternut Street in Abilene where it is still located today. Since that day Procter Automotive has grown into and nationally recognized automotive company with customers traveling from all over Abilene and the Big Country to have someone they trust to take care of all their automotive needs. When this company started it was just one man, his tools and a 3 bay shop, but today has grown to over 20 employees, over 20 bays and is Abilene’s only AAA approved Repair Facility. Procter Automotive was also named at one of the top 75 repair facilities in America by Auto Training Institute and was just awarded the Better Business Bureau Torch Award for Excellent Market Place Ethics.
