We started doing business in May of 1947.

Who founded Procter Automotive?

A great man named Bob Procter.

Are you a locally owned company?

Yes! The Campbell family who resides in Abilene, Texas owns and operates the company.

Are you a corporation?

Yes, our parent company is JPCC, Inc. We operate under two different names. Procter Automotive & National Engine & Transmission.

Who are the corporate officers?

Jimmy Campbell - President
Christopher Campbell - Vice President
Peggy Campbell - Treasurer.

Does Procter Automotive provide loan vehicles?

Not at this moment; but we are always striving to offer new and innovative ways to give you a better customer experience. But we will be glad to help arrange a rental for you..

How long will it take to repair my vehicle?

Because of the nature o this business, it is difficult to pinpoint a specific time and date for repairs to be completed. Each repair is different, and there are many variables that can effect how quickly a repair is completed. We will always do our best to keep you informed on the status of your vehicle. As the repairs progress, we can give you a better idea of the estimated time and date of completion.

If you don’t have a part in stock, how long will it take to order?

If we need to order a part, it usually arrives the next business day.

What kind of parts will you use to repair my vehicle?

Procter Automotive will only use parts that meet or exceed OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) to maintain the overall quality and health of your vehicle.

Do you service and repair all makes and models of vehicles?

Yes, we can take care of almost any vehicle on the road today; but if we can't we will suggest someone who can.

My vehicle is still under the manufactures warranty, can you perform all of the maintenance my vehicle needs without voiding the warranty?

Absolutely! No matter what your dealer says, a qualified technician is a qualified technician, we employee ASE and factory certified technicians just like the dealer..

How can you prove that it’s ok for Procter Automotive to maintain all of the maintenance needed for my vehicle without voiding the warranty?

Federal Law Prohibits new car dealers from implying or denying warranty service because routine schedule maintenance was performed at an independent repair facility.
