I recently moved to Abilene, driving my Porsche Carrera from Arizona. It was time for a major checkup (oil change, transmission and coolant flush, etc). Jimmy and his entire team at Procter Automotive were exceptional in making me feel confident that my Carrera was in great hands. They followed up every step of the way. When we purchased my Suburban, my husband continued to take it to the dealership as the previous owner had done, instead of Proctor. Several things went wrong that were very upsetting and threatened to ruin my engine. When we brought the car to Proctor, they put everything right again at a fraction of the price the dealership quoted us. I have been taking my vehicles to Proctor automotive for many years now. My husband liked taking my car to the dealership for regular oil changes until we started having lifter noise in our engine. The men at Proctor found sludge in our oil pan from the low quality oil they were using. It was ruining my engine. Lesson learned! When you go to Proctor they give you the highest quality parts, products and amazing customer service. They are a shop that you can trust. That means the world to me.

The customer service here is outstanding. As a woman who knows nothing about cars, it is great to know I have an honest, reliable place to get the mercedes serviced as there is no dealership in Abilene.

While they did good work on my Buick, they really nickel and dimed everything. So if you want a stereotypical mechanic who will forget to tell you about cost xyz, charge you an hour of labor for a 2 minute task, thus making your quote creep ever higher. Go here. Otherwise, there are cheaper mechanics who can do the same quality work elsewhere.
