10/22/2022 Procter Automotive is hands down the best place in town to get your vehicle serviced outside of a dealership. They're the only AAA-approved shop locally, which gave me peace of mind that Id be getting honest, professional work not something shady. I booked an appointment online, but never got a confirmation (my mistake). Still, the team was understanding and got me in anyway. They were able to diagnose the issue quickly and clearly explained everything. While I could only afford the diagnostic fee this time, Ill definitely be back when Im ready to complete the repair. Also worth mentioning: the older, larger gentleman working there treated a homeless-looking individual with kindness and respect. That really stood out to me speaks volumes about the character of this place. Thanks again, Procter Automotive! 10/18/2023 Second time coming here, this time for a different car. My Taurus was acting up it would start and then immediately shut off. Turned out to be a vacuum leak, and they had it diagnosed and fixed the same day. Super quick and reliable service. Thanks again, guys! 6/16/2025 This is my third time bringing my Taurus here, and once again, they delivered excellent service. This time, it was a broken radiator hose. I scheduled my appointment online for after-hours drop-off on Monday evening (6/16/25) since Id be working during their regular hours. I actually dropped off the car Sunday evening, a day early, and left a respectful message explaining my plan and that Id wait my turn. To my surprise, they texted me on Monday saying theyd try to look at it that day and sure enough, just a few hours later, the issue was diagnosed and fully repaired. I left work briefly to pay for the service, and they were kind enough to let me leave my car there until after I finished work, so I could pick it up even though they were closed. This place has been consistently fast, professional, and accommodating. Still the only place I trust for car repairs. Highly recommend!
